I have started a Pool Ladder. This is essentially a two and half month league where players set up singles matches (races to 5 games in 9 ball). People join a website (http://ropeyladder.com/ladder.php?id=4543) that gives you a ranking, unfortunately you start at the bottom, then you challenge a player and if you win you take his/her ranking. So if I am 7th and challenge the 1st player and then win the race to five. I become #1 and she becomes #2. You may challenge up to 3 places higher than you, you may not challenge below you -- so if you're ranked No. 1 then you have to wait until somebody challenges you to play.

It costs 15,000원 to join and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be paid out 50%, 30%, and 20% of the money plus some free alcohol.
